OF THINGS IN HEAVEN AND EARTH
Most people grow up with some teaching of right and wrong and as they mature most people form these teachings into a sort of personal integrity. Most of us feel that we live clean lives and treat others well; and when we think of going to heaven when we die, we assume that if the good things we do out weigh the bad things, then GOD will let us in. So we always go through life trying to do the best we can, but for most people there is a feeling that something is missing.
Most people are not happy. We can not put our finger on the cause, but know that something is missing from our lives; an emptiness that needs filled. We buy new cars to try and fill the emptiness, but only one thing can fill it. We buy nice houses, clothes, motorcycles, boats, and jewelry to fill the emptiness but they don't work because only one thing can fill it. Some try alcohol, sex and drugs to fill it but that doesn't work either. The feeling won't go away! Divorce and separations abound as couples try different partners hoping that the next one will be the one that fills the space and makes them completely happy. Some people think that winning the lottery will make them happy. If they did win, they would soon find out that like all their other worldly possessions, money doesn't satisfy their need either.
So what is this one thing that can fill the space
in us and make us happy? It's simple! When God created us, He was part of us. He
walked daily with Adam in the Garden of Eden. When Adam and Eve ate of the
forbidden fruit, sin entered the picture. Since GOD is HOLY, He separated
Himself from man, leaving the void that we feel today. It is an internal longing
in each of us that only He can fill. GOD in His love for us made a way of
forgiveness for our sins, so He could once again fill the space within us;
making us complete and happy, regardless of the car we drive, the house we live
in or the amount of money we make. This way of forgiveness is simply outlined in
the Bible. It says that without it, all of our good works are worthless to GOD,
because they were done without Him. To receive forgiveness and receive GOD
into your heart, follow these simple steps from God's Word.

GOD LOVES YOU and sent His only begotten son, Jesus Christ to earth, where He lived a sinless life and died blameless so that the shedding of His blood could pay for our sin. (Ephesians 1:7; Romans 5:8)

JESUS said ..."I am the way, the Truth and the Life, no man comes to the father, but by me. (John 14:6)

ADMIT that you are a sinner and that only the Lord Jesus can save you.
(Romans 3:23)

REPENT and be willing to turn away from sin and submit to God. (Luke 13:5)

BELIEVE that the Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross and shed His blood to pay the price for your sin, and that he rose again. (Romans 10:9)

ASK God to save you. (Romans 10:13)

ASK Jesus to be your Lord and take control of your life. (Romans 12:1-2)
Salvation through Jesus Christ is a free gift from God. You can't get to heaven by yourself. If you prayed and asked God to forgive you, and repented of your sin, asking Jesus to take control of your life then do these things:
Read your bible everyday to get to know Christ better.
Talk to God in prayer everyday.
Find a church where the
bible is taught as the complete Word of God and
is the final authority.
Obey Christ's command and be baptized. (Matthew 28:19)
